Research into Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia can affect anyone usually from 15-35 year old. It is a long-term mental illness that can affect your way of living but some tend to live a normal life with the condition.

People who suffer with Schizophrenia tend to have these symptoms including:

  • hallucinations - hearing or seeing things that do not exist.
  • delusions - unusual beliefs not based on reality which often contradict the evidence.
  • muddled thoughts based on the hallucinations or delusions.
  • changes in behaviour.

1 in a 100 will experience Schizophrenia  but there is many ways to seek help and advice if you think someone is experiencing it or showing similar symptoms above.
